I love this idea of a first anniversary shoot. After all, the 1st anniversary is the year of paper and photos are paper, right? Cate and Killian celebrated their first anniversary in May and I was so excited when Cate contacted me to do her hair and makeup for this shoot. The original plan was to photograph the entire session at Black Ankle Vineyard but a massive thunderstorm cut the photo shoot short. The photographer, Natalie Franke, was so gracious and met up with the couple again in Annapolis (the week of her own wedding) to finish the shoot. I was able to redo Cate’s makeup and hair for the second session as well so all worked out:)
