Meet Danielle!!! ADB Office Manager

It is long overdue, considering that Danielle has been Amie Decker Beauty’s office manager now for almost a year but I thought this adorable family session of hers was the perfect time to talk about our fabulous Danielle!  Many of our brides have been emailing with Danielle for months now, so now there is a face to go with the name:)

Danielle’s family session was photographed by my friend Amy Donahue at my family farm.  As you can see she is the queen of the house with four boys to take care of (including her husband:)).  We are so lucky to have her taking care of all of our bride too!

Feature Wedding: Melissa and Jeff: Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

One of my favorite things about being in this business is to see how all of the individual elements come to together to create one beautiful event.  We don’t get the chance to see all of the details and the emotions at the wedding so seeing the photos afterward makes me so happy to see how the wedding story was completed.  Melissa and Jeff’s wedding story captured by Natalie Franke was so incredible it almost brought me to tears.  Kelley and I had an incredible time with Melissa’s bridal party at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kent Island.  They seriously had us busting at the seems with laughter.  It was a beautiful experience to witness all of the love they all have for each other and we felt right at home:)  Thanks ladies.  So without further ado, I give you Melissa and Jeff’s wedding……

Feature Wedding: Mary and Justin: Baltimore Makeup and Hair

Mary and Justin had a beautiful and intimate wedding this past February.  According to Mary, “Baltimore is where we feel at home so we knew we wanted everything to be in the heart of the city with the people we love most.  Our theme was less is more and it really was!   When we planned our wedding for February we braced ourselves for awful weather.  We couldn’t have dreamed of a better day…70 degrees and blue skies.   It was a dream!”

As a Baltimore girl myself, I can’t help but smile when I see all of the beautiful portraits of the bride and groom in front of the Baltimore skyline.  The Rusty Scupper is such an ideal location for a small intimate wedding reception (great idea)!  Congratulations you two, I am so glad that your Wedding day was a dream come true!

Fashion Friday: Urban Chic Spring Fashion Shoot: Amie Decker Beauty

Even though we are hooked on weddings, our love for fashion is undeniable.  When we get to do fashions shoots it is a dream come true (especially when we get to work with the girls from Urban Chic).  Check out the gorgeous images from the day and don’t forget to leave a comment mentioning your favorite:)

It was so perfect that we were able to use the vintage piano in the photos.  And I WANT this dress!

It was so fun to do all of the hair and makeup changes for each outfit change.  Brows and top-knots are so “in” right now and this outfit was the perfect opportunity to showcase them.  Kelley styled this awesome top-knot and I thickened the models brows (so Brook Shields :))

Then we headed outside.  The weather was amazing and the cherry blossoms were in bloom!  So perfect!

I think this is my favorite shot of the day!  What do you think?

Feature Wedding: Alison and Rob: Style Me Pretty

Welcome to a scene from the Great Gatsby (At least how I imagine it in my mind:)).  Alison and Rob’s wedding was published on Style Me Pretty this week where they stated “Elegance never goes out of style”.  It is so true!  Their elegant and classic affair would be considered a dream wedding in any decade.  I was so honored to be among the list of talented and wonderfully kind vendors that Alison and Rob selected.  If the couple looks familiar you might have seen them on my blog when I posted their engagement pictures.  I have been itching to share these wedding photos and now I can finally reveal them:)  Enjoy!
