Ok Beauties, get ready for one of my favorite weddings EVER! I already gushed about Patty when I shared the photos from her rehearsal dinner and today I am sharing all about her epic wedding! Considering that I foresee Patty and David’s wedding serving as inspiration for countless brides, I asked Patty to share about her inspiration for the wedding design. Here is what she shared…
“I loved wedding planning. As an event planner myself, it came naturally and I wanted to be part of every decision. Above all else, I wanted our wedding day to be representative of us as a couple. I wanted it to feel like us. I didn’t want to follow tradition, “Just Because…” I wanted all of the elements to tell our story.
Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun was shining, the water was glistening, the birds were singing as they flew overhead, we were surrounded by all of our friends and family and I was marrying my best friend and the love of my life. I know, it sounds like “The Notebook,” but it’s true.
I guess I half expected to be a little nervous right before the ceremony; most brides would be as they process down the aisle, all eyes on her. But, I had this calm come over me, this sense of peace and happiness. My favorite part of the day was our ceremony, our vows, to be exact. We wrote our own and didn’t share them with each other prior to our wedding day. David’s words were so beautiful and I will always remember that moment for the rest of my life as this amazing man finally became my husband. ” -Patty

Amie is so talented and beautiful and such a pleasure to work with! She knew my vision for my sultry boudoir shoot and rehearsal dinner and did my flawless makeup for my wedding day.
