I adored all aspects of Kristen and Chris’s sophisticated Country Club wedding (especially the bride and bridal party!). It was a seamless day from the breathtaking ceremony views to the choreographed bridal party dance to Mama Mia. The wedding was exactly what the bride had desired to create… classic, timeless and fun. On a personal note, it is so special to us when we get to work with a group of girls again and again. We do not get a lot of repeat brides in this business (which is a good thing:)) However, after we develop relationships with our clients, the wedding day can be bittersweet because we are so excited for them but then sad because we will most likely not see them after their wedding day. For this reason, when a bride’s family members or friends hire us for their own wedding, it is incredibly rewarding and special for us. Two of Kristen’s bridesmaids (Lauren and Catherine) were our former brides which made the morning even more fun. Not only was it a reunion of sorts but everyone was really looking forward to their hair and makeup and not the least bit nervous. Part of our job every weekend is to calm the nerves of bridesmaids who have had a bad hair and makeup experience in the past. It is so refreshing for us when we work with a group of girls who have already had the Amie Decker Beauty experience and cannot wait to hop in our chairs!
