Nestled in the heart of Washington DC, The Hay-Adams stands as an elegant and iconic venue overlooking the White House. On a warm summer day, the historic hotel became the backdrop for a truly enchanting celebration – a multicultural, vibrant wedding that reflected the diverse love story of the couple.
The Bride, Annelise, resembled a modern day princess with her shimmering A-line gown and stunning updo but Sarah. Maria created a flawless bridal makeup that complimented Annelise’s porcelain complexion and striking eyes. What a joy to see the whole look come together.
From the Angelica and Co. team about the reception design:
“As guests mingled, we transformed the other side of the Top of the Hay grand ballroom into a haven of elegance and romance for the reception. Tables were adorned with vibrant centerpieces bursting with pink and red blooms, creating a feast for the eyes.
Annelise and Mayur’s love for bold colors and light hearted fun was evident in every detail, from the linens to the place settings, infusing the space with warmth and vitality. Our team took on the task of creating, designing, and printing their wedding-day paper pieces; a service we offer to our couples at Angelica & Co! We had the best time designing their paper pieces in shades of red and pink: their welcome sign, menus, guest place cards and personalized “table numbers” named after the couple’s favorite Taylor Swift Songs, giving a friendly feeling to the tablescape.
We made sure to sit the newlyweds at our favorite table, Champagne Problems, as a comedic nod.”
