Since Kelley started the Amie Decker Beauty hair division in 2009 she has led the company to many awards including “Best Updos” by Capital Style Magazine and “Best Hair” by What’s Up Weddings. How many times have you been a bridesmaid? Never (I think all my friends know its just not my thing……..)
What is your dream wedding gown? One that is super light weight and flowy and sexy;)
Why did you choose to become a hairstylist? Because I am glutton for punishment! Lol. I think because I love to have a connection with people in which I can make a difference in their lives. Your appearance is a big deal to most people. I love that I can lift someone up by something as simple as making them look good. I also am a really good listener, so people feel comfortable opening up to me.
Have you ever had a beauty disaster? By far the bride who didn’t tell me her extensions were synthetic and they melted into her updo! I just had to cut all the melted plastic out and continue on as if it never happened. At the end of the day she looked great and no one had any idea!!!
